External liaisons
The UEA and FEMB have extended their participation in international as well as national organisation as standardisation is a very significant topic for the furniture industries. The UEA is a member of the CEN Technical Committee related to furniture (TC 207).
Working liaison with TC 207 and WS Fun Step will be established. This is to avoid overlapping and resources wasting.
Workshop agreements will be signed.
The UEA is also very sensitive to initiative related to the development of the Internet, which are driving forces for the introduction of powerful latest selling, retailing, marketing and informative system in the furniture sector. It is part of the Multiligna Project.
